Most Ukrainians see recession as biggest threat

Recent polls show that more than half of Ukrainians consider the massive leaving of citizens for abroad (55% of the respondents) and an economic recession (52%) to be imminent threats to this country. At the same time, 47% and 39%, respectively, of the pollees recognize the impoverishment of the population and inflation as the greatest threats to Ukraine.

The opinion polls found that about one in three respondents, 34%, fear the deterioration of nation’s health. In addition, 33% of Ukrainian citizens view the breakup of this country as the most immediate threat.
