The Russian tourist office RosTourizm put forward the initiative to
extend the visa-free sojourn of Chinese tourist groups in Russia from
15 to 21 days. In addition, RosTourizm has proposed to reduce the number
of travelers in the group, which is entitled to enter Russia without
visas, from five to three persons. Last year a total of 1.125 million
Chinese tourists visited the Russian Federation.
