This year the company ChernomorNeftegaz of Russia is going to implement the project of prospecting for oil and natural gas at the Subbotin deposit on the Kerch shelf. Today commercially profitable reserves of oil are estimated at three million tons there.
In addition, plans are in hand to develop the Gordievich deposit of oil and gas in the Black Sea. Its reserves of natural gas are variously estimated at from 68 billion to 100 billion cubic meters.
According to many observers, Europe is dependent on Russian energy. Russia can cut off this energy. There are no alternatives in the short run, and perhaps not in the long run.
If Russia shuts off the energy, Germany’s industry would shut down. Europeans would freeze to death in the winter. Despite these facts, the neocon-infested U.S. government has forced the faulty European Union to impose economic sanctions on Russia.

22 апреля в гостинице InterContinental Kiev состоялся «Украинский инфраструктурный форум».
Договор о едином авиапространстве либерализует украинский рынок перевозок и позволит европейским компаниям беспрепятственно работать в Украине, а украинским - в Европе. Об этом заявил во время открытия форума Владимир Омелян, министр инфраструктуры Украины. По его словам, документ будет гарантировать доступ на украинский рынок европейских лоукостов, а также право украинских и европейских компаний осуществлять рейсы между Украиной и странами ЕС без межгосударственного согласования маршрутов.
Кроме того, международный аэропорт «Борисполь» во время форума анонсировал новый инвестиционный проект поиска инвестора для терминала транзитных грузов. Как утверждают эксперты, привлечённые инвестиции позволят снизить тарифы для пассажирских перевозок.
Евгений Дыхне, исполняющий обязанности генерального директора аэропорта «Борисполь», подчеркнул: «Аэропорт занимает важное место в авиации Украины: сегодня мы обслуживаем около 70% всего рынка пассажирских перевозок. Стратегия аэропорта на 2016 год - это стратегия развития хаба и увеличение доли трансферных перевозок. Хочу анонсировать новый инвестиционный проект поиска инвестора для транзитного карго-терминала в аэропорту «Борисполь», который мы разрабатываем. Наша цель - использовать географическое положение и разветвлённую сеть полётов в Европу, а также обеспечить профильному инвестору условия для сортировки и обработки грузов именно в аэропорту «Борисполь». Надеемся, что форум даст толчок для начала этой работы. Дополнительные средства в размере 100-200 миллионов гривен от этой деятельности позволят «Борисполю» снизить тарифы для пассажирских перевозок и в результате будут способствовать снижению стоимости билета».

Мы прогнозируем рентабельность общих авиаперевозок на уровне 8,2% в мире в 2016 г.».

Ukraine exports pork to other markets as Russia imposes embargo
Unfortunately, Ukraine sold only 900 tons of pork abroad in the first quarter that is 4.5 times less than in the same period last year. A cut in the export of pork from this country can be explained by the fact that Russia imposed an embargo at the end of 2015.

Economic recession forecast to be 0.3% in Ukraine in H1
Industrial output and agriculture fell by 1.7% and 2.5% respectively in Ukraine in January. In addition, a bad slump in export transactions accounted for the whopping 29.3% that can be explained by the loss of the Russian market.

УКРАИНСКИЕ ПРЕДПРИНИМАТЕЛИ ВПЕРВЫЕ ОБЪЕДИНИЛИСЬ В НЕЗАВИСИМЫЙ СОЮЗ

Russia develops defense infrastructure of Kuril Islands
This year Russia will deploy Bal and Bastion antiship missile complexes on the Kuril Islands within the framework of planned rearmament. For instance, Bastion is outfitted with Yakhont missiles, capable of hitting targets at a distance of 300 kilometers. In addition, the defense infrastructure of the Kuril Islands will be fortified with the new generation drones Eleron-3.
According to Viktor Ozerov, chairman of a committee on defense and security under the Russian Federation Council, the number of warships of the Russia’s Pacific Navy will depend on the quality of relations with Japan and other countries in the Asian-Pacific region.
It should be mentioned that Japan is still in a de jure state of war with Russia because of the Kurils problem.
Readers of The Ukrainian Times know that the Southern Kurils are the integral part of Russia’s territory on a legal basis in accordance with the results of World War II. Japan, which was the ally of Nazi Germany during WWII, shall strictly respect relevant accords and the U.N. Charter. Like Germany, Japan must bear responsibility for war crimes not only towards Russia but also all former Soviet republics and the anti-Hitlerite coalition.
Finally, it is worth remembering that the Kurils were originally settled by the Russians in the 17th-18th centuries. Japan seized the southern islands and in 1875 obtained the entire chain. After WWII they were legally ceded to the Soviet Union, and the Japanese population was repatriated.
And so, did Japan not learn any lessons from its criminal alliance with Nazi Germany?

Greece returns hundreds of refugees to Turkey but…
Recently, Greece has returned hundreds of refugees from the islands Lesbos and Chios to Turkey in accordance with an agreement between Ankara and the European Union. However, there are more than 50,000 refugees from Washington’s wars in Greece today.
Funnily enough, EU authorities flew only 43 citizens of Syria to Germany, whereas Greece has to bear the heaviest burden of this chaos created by the United States and its European vassals. Athens requires 480 million euros to overcome the crisis.

Bulgarian political party believes evil of NATO

According to the Bulgarian political party Ataka, the NATO would do evil to the country and the rearmament of Bulgaria’s army entails a sharp decline in living standards. Ataka leaders also believe sanctions imposed by the American evil empire and its European vassals against Russia have negative influence on the Bulgarian economy.
In May 2015, Sergey Naryshkin, Chairman of the State Duma (Russia’s parliament), published the article in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily in which he urged European politicians to stop heeding advice from the United States and to start working on common Eurasian economic interests with Russia. If this does not happen, Washington will eventually destroy the EU’s economic sovereignty by manipulation of WTO mechanisms.
It is important to note that Ataka sent its representatives to referendums in Crimea and the Donbas region. This political party entirely approved the reunification of the peninsula with Russia.

Даже отказавшись от прямых российских поставок, Украина всё равно будет платить России, поскольку нефтепродукты из Белоруссии, Литвы, Польши и Венгрии изготовлены из российской нефти. При этом их цена выше на размер добавленной стоимости (25-40 долларов за тонну), полученной на белорусских и европейских нефтеперерабатывающих заводах. Таким образом, 75-80% выручки за свои нефтепродукты страны-поставщики топлива на Украину перечисляют России.

It is important to note that four Ukrainian companies, namely, MedPharKom-Centr, Technolog, KievMedPreparat and Yuria-Pharm Ltd. won tenders to supply the drug preparations. The above contracts are valued at a total of $6.72 million.

Simferopol plant to make deliveries of macaroni for export
Recently, the Simferopol macaroni-making plant has received the special certificate that allows the Crimean enterprise to export its products to Syria, Egypt and Pakistan. Prior to the reunification of Crimea with Russia the share of pasta of Simferopol make in the Ukrainian market accounted for 15%. Inaugural Infrastructure Forum in Kiev to focus on investment opportunities

Mr. Belous said: “Over the last 10 years the volume of marine container transportation has reduced by half, and transit cargo carriage by a third notwithstanding that private companies are operating at most terminals. After examining the international experience, we have found that we need to change the model of managing public ports. At present, the most effective model is a mid-term concession whereby more than 80% of world ports operate. In Ukraine, this form of cooperation between the state and private capital can be effective only on condition that a new concession law be drafted. That is why we initiated the formation of an interdepartmental working group to consider and elaborate a new law in which the features of concessions will be defined not only for ports but also the transportation industry on the whole, for the sector of housing facilities and public utilities, medicine, and the social infrastructure, among others.”
The forum aims to enhance interest of foreign investors in Ukrainian infrastructure projects. It will answer key questions concerning the sources of financing to renew the infrastructure, as well as about mechanisms of the implementation of large investment projects. During the event Ukrainian business circles will also receive detailed information about the opportunities to launch the processes of modernization and operation with state-owned enterprises in the infrastructure sphere, as well as prospects for financing by national and international financial institutions. The second day of the Forum will feature 1-to-1 meetings between investors and representatives of Ukrainian companies. Plans are in hand to compile the catalogue of investment projects of Ukrainian public and private organizations in the field of infrastructure within the framework of the event.
